EtherWAN Systems, Inc. is wholly owned by Axiomtek, a publicly traded company on the Taipei stock exchange. EtherWAN was formed in 1996, Irvine CA, as a company to design and manufacture Ethernet products for niche markets. EtherWAN's US headquarters are located in Placentia CA with Pacific RIM headquarters and manufacturing in Taipei, Taiwan.


EtherWAN specializes in designing and manufacturing fiber optic Ethernet products and Ethernet products for harsh environments. EtherWAN has products deployed in industrial automation and transportation applications in several locations in the US, Europe and the Pacific Rim. EtherWAN deployed some of the first Ethernet networks for transportation applications in the USA.


EtherWAN also has OEM contracts to design and manufacturer equipment for major equipment suppliers to the Industrial Automation market. By maintaining engineering expertise in the USA and Taiwan, EtherWAN is able to design state of the art equipment and manufacture it cost effectively.
